Opening Numbers

If you are doing a fully improvised musical, the opening number is the first experience the audience get of you – and there’s nothing like a good first impression. Here is how we go about it.

Torch Songs
A torch song tends to be a sentimental song where you lament an unrequited or lost love. Do it right and the audience will be recalling the one who never loved them back and bawling their eyes out (recalling and bawling!).
